Who'll get your super?

We know it’s not what you want to think about. But there’s always a chance your super savings may outlive you. So it’s important you let us know where you want your money to go.

There are several options you can choose from when deciding what happens to your money in the event of your death.

  • Binding nomination – this is a legal declaration that will allow us to pay your benefit to your nominated person/s.
  • Non-binding nomination – this will give us an indication of your preferences without legally binding us to your request.
  • Reversionary nomination for pension accounts – we’ll keep paying your income stream to your eligible dependent.

Who can you nominate?

  • your partner
  • your children
  • an interdependent
  • other financial dependents (someone who relies on you financially)
  • your estate or legal personal representative (this isn’t available for reversionary nominations).

How can you update your beneficiaries?

You can update your non-binding beneficiary online via Members Online or you can give us a call on 1300 130 780 and we’ll start the process for your binding or reversionary nomination!
