For most members, this means more money in their super account.

Death & Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD) insurance

The cost of this insurance has dropped from $3 to $2.55* per week per unit (from 1 Oct). 
For example: if you have an employer who pays contributions into your super account, you receive 1 unit of Light Blue Fixed Premium Death & TPD insurance on joining us#. 

Income Protection

Earlier this year we also reduced our Income Protection premiums by 10%. 
For members who are currently insured through us, these reductions are automatically applied, so there's no need to do anything.

*This is the net insurance cost you pay. The gross cost is $3 per week (per unit) for Death & TPD. Because we’re able to claim a tax deduction for the cost of providing insurance (which we pass onto members), you pay the lower net cost.
