LUCRF Pensions

LUCRF Super now provides access to LUCRF Pensions when you retire* and require access to a flexible income stream, whether on your road to retirement via our Transition Pension or at retirement with our Retirement Pension.  LUCRF Super members can convert their superannuation savings into a flexible income stream, that offers the same competitive, low cost, member-focused features that you expect from LUCRF Super.

LUCRF Pensions commenced on 15th May 2007 and have a number of key advantages over many other pensions, including:

• No entry or exit fees**
• Low ongoing fees and no commissions
• Choice of Transition Pension and Retirement Pension
• Flexible, diversified range of six investment options 
• Easy to invest your money
• Personalised customer service, you talk to a person, not a machine 

There are six investment options to choose from depending on your own personal circumstances, investment goals and attitude towards risk.

Who is eligible to transfer?

Generally, you can only transfer to a LUCRF Pension if you:

• Have reached age 65, or
• Have retired and reached your preservation age, or
• Have met other conditions of release of your benefit, such as invalidity, or
• Have an unrestricted non-preserved lump sum to invest.

Prior to making a decision regarding our Pensions, you may wish to seek financial advice from a person authorised to provide personal financial advice.

LUCRF Super also provides members with access to financial planning, and we can put you in touch with a financial planner to assist you further with determining your retirement income needs and/or to help you select the appropriate LUCRF Pension product and investment option.

* Retirement includes any situation where you have unrestricted access to your superannuation benefit, including ceasing work due to ill-health.
